Materials.
The course is based upon the most popular business English course book from Longman Publishing’s Market Leader series. Reading is from authentic texts from the London Financial Times, The Guardian and business websites. Listening is from authentic business orientated radio progammes, such as the BBC’s ‘Radio 5’ and MoneyBox. Self Study is through a separate book of practice materials and a separate audio pronunciation disk and a CDROM of grammar and vocabulary exercises. The whole is constantly supplemented by materials and exercises prepared particularly for this client, including relevant news extracts and articles highlighting issues and trends within their industry or the business and management issues currently under Speaking.
Timing.
The programme is delivered as 120 minute contact sessions, supplemented by guided self study sessions. The client busy and varied work schedule and business and personal commitments means that it is not possible to give exact dates and times of these sessions but it is anticipated that around 2 sessions per week will be delivered.
